GIG Health’s Partnership with the Bee-lieve Foundation wins GOLD at the Communiqué Awards
July 5, 2025
It’s July 3rd, 2025, at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. Teams from across the healthcare sector, pharmaceutical representatives, healthcare organisations, and creative communications and PR agencies are gathering for an evening of celebration, where the boldest and most groundbreaking work shaping our industry is showcased. Familiar and friendly faces appear among the buzzing crowd as life updates and jokes are exchanged, and new connections begin to spark.
After the first round of photos, we naturally gravitate towards the balcony and staircase, where more snapshots are taken overlooking the beautifully staged ground floor. The room is filled with round tables dressed for the occasion, a brightly lit stage, and a podium ready for the hosts to announce the categories and contenders. We’re all trying to guess who the celebrity guest might be this year.
We take our seats with our pro-bono partners from the Bee-lieve Foundation, quietly hoping to bring home a glittering trophy in the category Excellence in Pro-bono Working — a dream collaboration supporting their meaningful work to improve the mental health of school-aged children.
One in five young people in the UK struggle with their mental health, and half of all adult mental health challenges are established by the age of 14. With the challenges of social media and the lasting impact of COVID-19, it’s a particularly difficult time to be a kid.
We were introduced to the Bee-lieve Foundation and its incredible grassroots initiatives through a pharmaceutical client of ours who sits on its board of trustees. From the very first conversation, we recognised a charity whose purpose and passion aligned with our own. Working closely with the Bee-lieve team, we reinvented their messaging, mission, vision, and visuals, modernising their website for stronger performance and greater reach.
As we wait for our category to be announced, we watch inspiring examples of work from across the industry, from Excellence in Patient Programmes to Excellence in Healthcare Partnerships. The standard is exceptional, and we make mental notes to carry that inspiration into our own future projects. Then, the moment of truth arrives.
We’re up against Vibrant Collaboration to Deliver Inspiring Ideas by Havas Life on behalf of Unique, and Stormbreak One Million Animation by Hamell Communications on behalf of Stormbreak. We share excited glances with our partners — Bee-lieve’s CEO, Steve Tindall, and trustees Lice Price, Clive Price, Ron Neale, and Colin Williams — alongside our GIG team: Managing Director and Founder, Tim Gomersall, and our design and digital experts Isla Arnold, James Nash, Aidan Boothby, and Jana Bobulis. The energy is electric.
And then we hear it: “The winners are Building a Brighter Future with Bee-lieve Foundation by GIG Health on behalf of the Bee-lieve Foundation.” A DREAM COME TRUE!!!
We are so thrilled by this win because when your values and passion align so naturally with a charity’s mission, you do whatever it takes to help bring their vision to life. Bee-lieve partners with schools to fund vital mental health programmes, and we’re honoured to play a small part in amplifying their impact in improving the emotional wellbeing of children, young people, and their families.
A huge congratulations to the Bee-lieve Foundation. Learn more about our collaboration and how they’re building brighter futures for young people across the UK.
