Aidan Boothby Celebrates 10 Years at GIG Health
July 25, 2024

Reflecting on your journey, what have been some of the most memorable projects you’ve worked on, and why do they stand out to you?
I’ve been lucky to help develop some lovely brand work for some of our biggest clients. There’s no better feeling than seeing your concepts fleshed out and brought to life across web, design and video and I feel proud knowing that we’ve taken so many of our clients along on that journey with us.
What advice would you give to aspiring graphic designers/illustrators looking to make their mark in the healthcare creative field?
Healthcare design involves a different way of thinking from most other sectors: It’s less about “How cool will this look?” and more about “How will this help others?“. If you want to feel like you’ve made a meaningful difference to people’s lives in some way then it’s a pretty good avenue!
Beyond the projects and deadlines, what do you value most about being part of this industry and your role within it?
It’s always nice when we get feedback from the patients themselves. There’s nothing more rewarding than hearing that something we’ve worked on has helped those who feel they have no voice to know they aren’t forgotten about.
Looking ahead, what excites you most about the future of healthcare creative graphic design, and what aspirations do you hold for the next chapter of your career?
It feels like healthcare has been more open to experimenting with aesthetics that were previously considered left field up until quite recently; bright and vibrant design is becoming ever-more in demand and I look forward to breaking some visual boundaries!
