Ade Adesina Celebrates 10 Years at The Good Ideas Group
April 15, 2024

What initially drew you to the world of healthcare creative animation/editing, and how has your passion evolved over the past decade?
For years, I spun products in 2.5D and 3D space – a familiar dance, but one that lacked a deeper connection. This new challenge, crafting animations that evoke emotion, felt like a breath of fresh air. Now, the focus isn’t just on information, but on sparking something real in our viewers. Witnessing the impact of our work on others, the emotions we ignite, that’s what truly matters and pushes me to want to do more.
How have your colleagues and mentors contributed to your growth and success over the past 10 years?
There’s a contagious energy that ignites when colleagues share stories, especially when the topics touch on difficult realities like disease and illness. These challenges can feel daunting, but together, we transform them into a powerful collective voice. Every brainstorm, every shared experience, fuels our mission to empower those who need to be heard. Surrounded by passionate ideas, I’m constantly inspired to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
What advice would you give to aspiring animators/editors looking to make their mark in the healthcare creative field?
If you have a passion for impact, healthcare is a great industry to be a part of. Build a portfolio that translates complex medical information into clear, engaging visuals. Sometimes it’s about taking from the vast pot of information that is available to healthcare professionals and finding new and creative ways to make a lasting difference to the general public, healthcare professionals and more importantly, the patients.
Beyond the projects and deadlines, what do you value most about being part of this industry and your role within it?
Stories.
Being able to bring peoples to the forefront, to educate, to advise, and to share with the world via the necessary medium, brings me great joy. It’s a wonderful feeling to be able to capture the essence of the lives people live, create something fitting that expresses it, connects with others, and gives it life. Being an Art Director is a great way to take what others are used to seeing in the world of healthcare and exploring new ways of connecting it with the intended audience.
